Terms of use

The rules for using the site and the pass, in plain words.

Who we are

findajobandrelocate.com is run by Highly Performant Limited, a limited liability company in the Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, licence MC 13910, Smart Station, First Floor, Incubator Building, Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). These terms are between you and us. By using the site you agree to them. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy, and how refunds work is in the refund policy.

Guidance, not advice

We publish information about salaries, living costs, visas, tax and jobs to help you decide whether to move. It is general guidance for people like you, not advice for your situation:

  • Visas and immigration: rules and fees change, and each case is decided by the authorities. Check with the official source we link to, your employer or a licensed immigration adviser before you apply, resign or book a flight. We don't apply for visas or handle documents for anyone.
  • Tax: our take-home and tax figures are estimates for a typical case. Whether you owe tax at home after you move depends on your residence and your own affairs: ask a qualified tax adviser.
  • Salaries and costs: ranges come from the sources shown next to each figure, with their dates. Your offer and your costs can differ.
  • The AI advisor and reviews: answers are written by an AI model from our data and can still be wrong or incomplete. Every number it gives should come from our data with its source; check the source before relying on it. A CV or offer review is an automated second opinion, not legal advice on a contract.
  • Jobs: jobs come from employers' own sites and job boards. “UAE residents only” means the ad asks for people already in the UAE; confirm who can apply with the employer. We don't employ, recruit or place anyone, applying is always free, and you should never pay anyone to get a job.

Your account

You need to be 18 or over. Keep your email inbox secure: anyone who can open your sign-in links can use your account. You can close your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend accounts that misuse the site, for example by scraping it, abusing the AI advisor or trying to get round the pass.

The 6-month pass

  • One payment gives you 6 months of access from the day you pay (after your current pass, if one is still running). It never renews, so there's nothing to cancel.
  • Buying it: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy, you also accept Paddle's buyer terms; Paddle takes the payment, sends your receipt and invoice, and charges any VAT or GST due where you live. We never see your card details.
  • Prices on the site include those taxes. The price depends on the country you pay from, and the final price, in your currency, is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Refunds: a full refund within 14 days of buying, no questions asked. A refund ends the pass. The details are in the refund policy.
  • Fair use applies so the service stays fast for everyone: about 300 advisor questions a month with the pass, and 5 questions a month on a free account. CV and offer reviews are unlimited under fair use: up to 10 new documents a day, and re-checks of a document are free. We look at unusual use (for example more than 20 new documents in a month) and may ask you about it; we don't block it without telling you.
  • Job alerts come with the pass and stop when it ends. You can change them or unsubscribe at any time.
  • If we close the site, or stop a main feature of the pass while yours is running, we'll refund the part of the pass you can no longer use.

The 7-day review

  • One payment gives you a review of one document, your CV or an offer letter, marked up line by line, with “Fix all issues” for a CV and the questions to ask for an offer. You can upload a new version of the same document and check it again up to 5 times. Everything has to start within 7 days of paying; it never renews.
  • It includes 50 questions to the AI advisor during those 7 days. It doesn't include the other pass tools (the budget, visa and area tools, job alerts) or a review of a second document: those come with the 6-month pass.
  • It is sold the same way as the pass, by Paddle.com as our reseller and Merchant of Record, at the price shown at checkout for the country you pay from.
  • Refunds: a full refund until your first review runs. After that, a refund only if the review fails (for example, we can't read the file). A refund ends the review. The details are in the refund policy.

Using the site

Please don't copy the site's data in bulk, run automated scrapers against it, try to break its security, or upload files that aren't yours to share. What you upload stays yours; you let us process it to give you the review you asked for.

The site, its text, design and our own analysis belong to us. Figures we publish come from the sources named next to them, which keep their own rights. You may quote small parts with a link back to the page.

Liability

We do our best to keep the information accurate and up to date, and show where each figure comes from, but we can't guarantee it. We aren't responsible for decisions you make on the strength of it, or for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen. Apart from that, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the pass in the year before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit (for example for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence), or takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Abu Dhabi can hear any dispute. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.

If we change these terms, we'll update this page; a change that affects a pass you've already bought won't apply to it without your agreement.
